Translation / Interpretation

A variety of languages are represented at People’s Health Center. We are able to interpret on site in the following languages:

Spanish
Vietnamese
Kurdish
Arabic
Burmese
French

In addition, sixteen of our staff were born in a different country and seventeen languages are spoken by staff, including Farsi, Portuguese and Telgue.

Community Health Centers have demonstrated their ability to deliver affordable, comprehensive, coordinated, patient-centered care while reducing health disparities associated with poverty, race, language and culture. Being able to understand the care provider in one’s native language leads to better patient outcomes and healthier lifestyles.
